The highlighting effect is a makeup effect created by the formula. Kao specifically recommends applying it to areas such as the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and forehead to create a naturally radiant, dimensional appearance.  

WHEN TO USE

Every morning:
Use after your skincare routine and before makeup.

As a makeup base:
It gives the skin a smooth, luminous finish underneath foundation or can be worn alone for a simple no-makeup makeup look.

For outdoor days:
Ideal for everyday sun exposure, travel, holidays and outdoor activities.

Reapply:
Reapply regularly, particularly after sweating or wiping your skin.  

HOW TO USE

1. SHAKE WELL
This is a two-layer formula, so shake thoroughly until you hear the contents moving.

2. APPLY TO YOUR PALM
Dispense an adequate amount into your hand in small amounts.

3. APPLY EVENLY
After completing your skincare routine, spread evenly over the face and neck. Make sure you use enough product — using too little can reduce the expected level of sun protection.  

4. MAKEUP
Allow it to settle, then apply your makeup as usual.

5. REAPPLY
Reapply after sweating, wiping your skin or prolonged outdoor exposure.  

AGE GUIDE

Kao does not specify a minimum age specifically for this Highlight Lotion on the product page.

However, Kao’s general Bioré UV guidance recommends Bioré UV Kids Pure Milk for children aged 6 months to under 6 years. For children under 2, Kao advises against using the other Bioré UV products.
